mujadara (lentils and rice) Recipe

I cook my rice and my glasses separately. Approximately equal parts of each. I oven fry my onions because I do not like stirring constantly. I use regular lentils and basmati rice as long grain nothing special or anything. Then mix the lentils and rice, served with a large slice of onion on top. If it's too boring, I recommend cooking rice and lentils in stock - chicken, unless you are a vegetarian, then use a nice shop vegetables.
