Ooh. You are in for a treat. Saffron is a great thing. It is a strange combination of a powerful spice, with a very delicate flavor. Only a small amount is needed, but it is so beautiful, you want to get every drop. The best way to get everyone in your food, in a mortar, either with sugar (sweet recipes) or salt (salted are). Dump the powder, then rinse the mortar with a little liquid in the recipe.
